Markets in Cathedral Are Back! Media Release

It is finally here! Saturday Cathedral Markets are back! Here is the Media Release. Held at 2900 13th Avenue at the Cathedral Neighbourhood Center. New times for these indoor Markets will be 10am to 2pm. We figured out that you people like to sleep in on Saturdays. We'll be polling the vendors to see if we want to keep the hours the same for outdoor Markets.

Tomorrow Going with the Grain will be serving a locally sourced breakfast. I heard of plans for Wild Boar Bacon (swoon), local organic eggs, and his own multigrain and sourdough breads. 33 1/3 Coffee Roasters will be ready with pourover coffee. He is so perfect with his roasts. The vendors have commented that this was the best coffee they had. Soup...Simply will be selling her lovely soups for lunch. I am not sure what the flavour will be tomorrow. Please note that these vendors will be selling take home food at the lunch windows too.

We know you missed them. Here's the list of who is coming in. Books and Blankets, Zee Bee Honey, Over the Hill Orchards, Jean's Skin Cream, Summer Hartsfeld Jewelry, Loon Creek Saskatoons, Laurel's Danish, SK Hillbillies, Hi Low Angus, Golden Prairie Wild Boar, Farmgate Foods, Pusch Bros. Organic Farms, Pure T Organics, RDeez Treats and Eats, Rusty's Wild Rice, Miller's By-Gone Farm, Barn Cat Designs, The Cookie Lady, Rocky Acres Orchard, Mother Hubbard's Cupboard, Stellar Gourmet Mushrooms, Sacred Earth, and I am sure there is one mystery vendor.

Now don't forget we have University of Regina Markets at the Research & Innovation Center Atrium until April  17th. The March 20th Market will be closed. If you can't make to Cathedral or just need your local fix twice a week you should come to  these Thursday UniMarkets.

Well, a new season begins. I wonder what greatness 2014 will bring? See you tomorrow, stop and say hello! Ada
