Sept. 14 Map & 8 More Outdoor Markets!

Including tomorrow, there are 8 outdoor markets left in 2016! Our last day on the Plaza will be October 8, the Saturday before Thanksgiving (don't forget to pick up a pumpkin pie!). There will be no market on Wednesday, October 12. Starting on October 15, you'll find us at the Wa Wa Shrine Centre (2065 Hamilton St.) every Saturday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Markets at this indoor location will occur weekly on Saturdays ONLY until December 17.

Green is not gone! It may be September, but we still have more than root vegetables to offer. Lettuce, kale, herbs, cucumbers, peppers, green onions, cabbage, Brussels sprouts, celery, and zucchini are a few green things that will be available at tomorrow's market. Here's a list of veggie vendors in attendance:

  • Fishley Farms

  • Floating Gardens

  • Heliotrope Organic Farm

  • Kangro Gardening

  • Lincoln Gardens

  • Mitchell's All Natural Foods

  • Southland Colony

  • Spring Creek Garden

  • The Garlic Garden

  • Waldeck Colony

Quality farmers' market food deserves a hand-crafted cutting board. The boards shown here are hand-crafted by Prairie Engraving out of maple, and then laser engraved. They're beautifully made and fully functional, too! The engraving is there to stay, but feel free to use the opposite side of the board if you wish to keep the engraved side clean for display purposes. There are plenty of cutting boards already made up with food-related sayings or inspirational quotes, but custom orders are definitely welcome. Perhaps a simple monogram is preferred, or even a company logo. The options are endless at Prairie Engraving!

Back in: Pile of Bones Beard Care Co., Prairie Engraving, Rosie the Flower Truck, and Yorkton Bakers.

Food trucks: Baba's Food Spot, Bon Burger, Mr. Spudd's Poutinerie, Nacho Fiesta, and Prairie Smoke.

See you at market!
