April 9 Map & New Products!

RFM will now be able to offer microgreens again, starting TOMORROW! I know you've all been waiting patiently. New vendor, Janine of J9's Tiny Farm, will have potted microgreens of the broccoli, red clover and alfalfa varieties. She will also have a "Sandwich Mix" available. More varieties, such as wheatgrass, will be added in the near future. Please give Janine a warm RFM welcome when you see her tomorrow!

NEW PRODUCT ALERT! Rusty's Wild Rice has introduced popped wild rice to their line of certified organic wild rice products! It's nutty, crunchy and perfect for snacking. The popped wild rice will be sold in snack-sized bags AND squares of popped rice krispie cake! The krispie cake is a healthy bite to eat with a little sweetness and a lot of crunch. You can try some for yourself at tomorrow's market, when the popped wild rice makes its debut!

Each item displayed on the table belonging to Reem's Kitchen is perfect. It's clear that Reem takes pride in her work and doesn't make anything without putting in 110%. You can count on consistency from this vendor. Reem describes her baking as a mix of Middle Eastern and modern. This is shown in the variety of cookies she offers; some traditional cookies have pistachios while others are her take on the "turtle" combination of flavours. Reem will always greet you with a smile and is genuinely flattered when customers make a purchase.

Tomorrow's market will be the second one for Amber-Rayne Designs. If you didn't meet Jamie last week, be sure to check out her table tomorrow! She has a beautiful display and quite a selection of wrap bracelets. The bracelets are made with leather cord, metal buttons and sparkly beads! They are reasonably priced at either $20 or $25. You'll find Jamie across from Miller's By-Gone Farm tomorrow.

Rosie the Flower Truck and Sadza Arts & Crafts will be attending their first 2016 market tomorrow. Cheang's Sinofood, Mother Hubbard's Cupboard, Beyond Naturals, BarnCat Designs, Blankets 'n' Books, and Hi Low Angus are back. Check out the MAP to see all vendors in attendance and their location inside 2065 Hamilton St. The market will run from 9 am to 1 pm and there is free parking across the street.

See you at market!
