August 3 Map & Garlic!
It's the day many of you have been waiting for; The Garlic Garden will be at market tomorrow with fresh garlic! The growing conditions for garlic in 2016 were just right, and Anna says they have "big, beautiful garlic heads" this year! Aside from fresh garlic, garlic braids, dehydrated garlic powder and garlic granules will also be available tomorrow.
If you didn't make it to market on Saturday, you missed Prairie Bee Meadery's inaugural market. Don't fret; they'll be attending their first Wednesday market tomorrow! Six meads are currently available: Strawberry Splash, Melon Mist, Cherry Charm, Haskap Haven, Raspberry Romance, and Fruit Fusion (a combination of sour cherry, raspberry, haskap, and strawberry).
After taking time off for a family camping trip, our nuttiest vendor is returning to RFM. Name Your Nuts will make the drive from Saskatoon tomorrow morning to ensure Regina customers are well stocked with candied pecans, almonds, peanuts, and sunflower seeds. You'll find Name Your Nuts on the Plaza in between The Cookie Lady and Kangro Gardening.
Vendors have received first pick, and now our new t-shirts are up for grabs! Articulate Ink designed and printed them for us on quality American Apparel black shirts. Sizes range from small to double extra large, with limited amounts available. Get to the RFM Info Tent (located at the centre of the Plaza) early tomorrow morning for the widest selection. Shirts are $25 each.
Rosie the Flower Truck, Name Your Nuts, The Garlic Garden, and South Valley Farm are back. Food trucks: Baba's Food Spot, Bon Burger, Mr. Spudd's Poutinerie, Nacho Fiesta, and Prairie Smoke.
See you at market!
