June 1 Map & Market Food Trucks!

There's a new food truck in town and they specialize in everyone's favourite food...PEROGIES! Baba's Food Spot uses Saskatchewan-made perogies and toppings made from their own family recipes. Seriously, that "dilly cream sauce" is to die for. Alternately, you can get fried onions and bacon as a topping, which is equally amazing. Also on the menu is the "Kuba Dog", a locally sourced kielbasa in a bun with fried onions on top. What more could you possibly want from a food truck?? (Photo by Baba's Food Spot)

Returning to the food truck scene at RFM is Prairie Smoke & Spice BBQ (with a new truck)! You'll be able to smell that familiar smokiness in the air during tomorrow's market. Rumour has is that ribs will be on the menu...better come early to beat the lunch rush!

These are the food trucks you can expect to see at RFM this year:

  • Baba's Food Spot

  • Prairie Smoke & Spice BBQ

  • Mr. Spudd's Poutinerie

  • Bon Burger

  • Nacho Fiesta

  • Beak's Chicken

Michelle of Zee-Bee Honey likes to add new products to her booth regularly. The lastest addition are these cute two-item gift bags. They include a small jar of flavoured honey and a handmade beeswax candle. Honey flavours this year are: cinnamon, chocolate, lavender, ginger, orange spice, lemon, and coffee (infused with beans from 33 1/3 Coffee Roasters). Michelle would like to remind you that using Zee-Bee Honey can "take your tea, toast and cooking to a whole new level"!

The pianos of the "Open Air Piano" project by Regina Downtown BID have been outside since the fall of 2015. After a good life of making music outdoors, the pianos have metaphorically "died" over the winter. But now the pianos have been reborn, giving life to little forests and deserts. Each one has morphed into a wooden terrarium of sorts; they're isolated worlds created by artists Jackie and Evan Larkin for us to enjoy. The piano pictured here is a desert theme, found under the twinkle lights on the east side of the Plaza. I wonder what the piano-terrariums will evolve into next...

Bandana Girls Granola is returning for their first market of 2016! Inspired by Beads is back and Heliotrope Organic Farm is in for their first Wednesday market. Take a look at the Vendor LIST to see who will be in attendance tomorrow and the Market MAP to see were you'll find them.

See you at market!
