March 19 Map & BRUNCH Reminder

INGREDIENTS: dried hot peppers. That's all. It's nice to know exactly what's in your food, and it's nice to know where it comes from, too. Ledeen of Rocky Acres Orchard makes this 3 Pepper Spice with cayenne, jalapeno and "Purple Gusto" peppers. She starts the plants from seed, dries the peppers, grinds them, and then blends them into this spicy mix. These little jars are packed with flavour and heat; Ledeen says, "use with caution!"

If you've ever been to the market, you must have met Mila. She attends literally EVERY market of the year, including spring and fall indoors. Mila has something for everyone at her table, but especially for the kids. Mila simply isn't happy until the children have smiles on their faces. Visit Mila's Home Cooked Baking & Catering at market tomorrow, if you weren't already planning on it. The kids' treats are good for adults, too!

Colour a bunny and an Easter egg cookie for RFM Kids' Club at market tomorrow! These cookies from The Cookie Lady are iced white so kids can colour them as they wish with edible ink markers. RFM Kids Club is FREE!

We're trying something new at the spring indoor markets...BRUNCH! Experience a local meal by CBC Future 40 winner, Chef Mariana Brito of The Backyard. Brunch will be served during the market on March 26, but you must reserve your seat and pay in advance at the market TOMORROW. Brunch is by reservation only, and 3 seatings are available: 10 am, 11 am and 12 pm. The meal will be made exclusively with products from these vendors:

Tomorrow's market will be held at 2065 Hamilton St. from 9 am to 1 pm. Free parking is available in the SaskPower parking lot. It will be the first market this year for Stellar Gourmet Mushrooms and Dressed by Les. There will be fresh veggies, eggs and meat available, among other things.
