May 7 Map & FIRST OUTDOOR MARKET!

Here we come, Regina! We'll see you on City Square Plaza tomorrow morning for our first outdoor market of 2016! It's going to be a beautiful day and the Plaza will be packed with vendors. Many are familiar faces that you haven't seen since the end of the 2015 outdoor season, such as Earthy Artisan and Craibstone Creamery. After tomorrow, we'll be on the Plaza twice weekly; every Wednesday and Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm. Wednesday, May 11 is another exciting day for us, as it will be our first Wednesday market of the year!

During tomorrow's market, a few vendors are pitching in to help our neighbours in Alberta. Angela's Own, Going with the Grain, Lorraine's Kitchen, Eat Simply, Bon Burger, and Mila's will all be donating a portion of their profits to the Red Cross in support of Fort McMurray evacuees. Local humanitarians, Hasan Hai and Niall O'Hanlon, will be accepting donations at a booth on the east side of the Plaza. They will only be accepting items that are needed (see list below) and will not be accepting monetary donations. If you wish to donate money, please do so directly to the Red Cross.

  • bags & boxes for packing

  • towels

  • clothes hangers

  • bottled water

  • NEW pillows & blankets

NEW toiletries

NEW clothing - male/female, all ages/sizes

May 7 is our first market on the Plaza, but for a few vendors, it's the first market EVER! Watch for these new vendors while you stroll through the market:

  • Cake Witch Cafe (German baking)

  • Pile Of Bones Beard Care Co. (naturally scented beard balm)

  • Black Fox Spirits (100% Saskatchewan spirits and liqueurs).

Other new 2016 vendors that will be set up tomorrow include Inspired by Beads, J9's Tiny Farm, Herb Head, and Amber Rayne Designs.

It sounds like it's going to be a very warm day on the Plaza tomorrow. In case you need to cool off, Cuppa' T' will be there with iced tea—strawberry black tea and cherry rose green tea. They will also be serving hot Assam tea if iced isn't for you.

Visit Nosh Artisan Edibles tomorrow. They'll have Strawberry Ropes—an all natural alternative to red licorice. Strawberry Ropes are made with strawberries, dates and beet juice and are dehydrated to create a chewy texture. They contain no nuts, dairy, soy, corn, gluten (not a gluten free kitchen), or artificial flavours/colours. You can enjoy them worry-free!

Lots of vendors will be waiting for you on the Plaza tomorrow morning; take a look at the LIST to see who is in attendance and the MAP to see where they'll be! On the map, click on a vendor name to be directed to their Vendor Page on the RFM website.

See you at market!
