Indoor Farmers' Market

Welcome to the holiday market season, when Christmas products, decorations, music, and cheer start making their appearance in earnest! At the farmers’ market, the holidays mean you can expect a few things:

RFM vendors start unveiling their holiday product lines… think gingerbread houses (pictured here: Fadiah's Sweets Shoppe), baking trays, and oodles of holiday gift options.

Markets just keep getting bigger and more festive! Expect more vendors at each of our holiday markets, leading up to our last market of 2017 on December 16, when we expect to be bursting at the seams.

We start gearing up for our first-ever Holiday Night Market on Thursday December 7 from 5 to 9 pm! This special event will feature the best holiday shopping the RFM has to offer, set to a relaxed atmosphere of local food, live music by Regina’s Belle Plaine and local drinks (from Black Fox Distillery, Last Mountain Distillery, Living Sky Winery, Malty National Brewery, and Prairie Bee Meadery).

6 Great Reasons to Visit Tomorrow’s Market:

#6. Our patience has paid off, and Robert of Golden Prairie Wild Boar will finally be returning to market with bacon, ground meat, and roasts. (If you do miss him tomorrow, he’ll be back for all remaining fall indoor markets with more products each week!)

#5. Saskatoon-based Prairie Proud will be popping up at the RFM with their line of prairie lovin’ clothing!

#4. Joel of Stellar Gourmet Mushrooms has navigated his annual tricky transition to cold weather mushroom production, and is returning to the market with oyster and shiitake mushrooms, as well as Certified Organic eggs.

#3. Eat…Simply (pictured here) will be making their ONLY fall indoor market appearance tomorrow, and will feature her scrumptious line of soups and other frozen prepared meals.

#2. El Tropezon is cheffing up another incredible brunch. Roberto, Valeria, and team keep stepping up the creativity to meld their authentic Mexican Flavours with fun Canadian brunch favourites. New this week: Tropezon Benedict (featuring poached eggs with a chipotle hollandaise). 

#1. At LONG last, Saltine Baking Co. (pictured at top) is returning to market with her unparalleled sourdough breads and other savoury baked goods. Come early and prepare to line up!

Tomorrow our resident cupcake expert, Arlene of The Cake Queen, will be offering a free cupcake (pictured here) or muffin to anyone with 20 punches or more on their RFM digital punch card.
