Garlic Scapes

It's scape season! The Garlic Garden will be at market tomorrow with garlic scapes galore. Not sure what garlic scapes are? They're the green part of the plant that grows above the ground (like green onions). People go crazy for these garlicky tangles, so arrive early. If you're not sure what to do with them, check out a few ideas on this website.

Tacos

After putting on a few brunches during our indoor market season, El Tropezon Authentic Mexican Food joined us on the Plaza with frozen take-home packages. Very recently, El Tropezon acquired a food truck and will be serving tacos on the Plaza for the second time tomorrow!

Peas

The first peas of 2017 officially hit the Plaza last market (June 24) and we're ready for more! Each year, when pea season arrives, it's like the official start of summer with a promise of great produce to come. It always seems to snowball from there–before you know it, I'll be posting about pumpkins! A handful of vendors (such as Southland Colony and Spring Creek Gardens) will have peas tomorrow. Availability will increase quickly over the next couple of markets.

Spring Creek Gardens

We <3 Spring Creek Gardens, and are excited to welcome them back for the summer. They're experienced farmers that always bring their best to market, which is obvious in the presentation and quality of their veg.

On the Spring Creek table tomorrow:
