Outdoor Farmers' Market
Jul 18, 2018
RFM News: July 18
We get asked all the time for insider market information. Who makes the best pie? Which vendor should I see for the best cookies? Of course, we love all of our vendors and collectively they represent some of the best baking in Saskatchewan. But individually, they are each known for something really special. Head down to City Square Plaza from 9am-1pm Wednesday and pick up a mid-week sweet treat from one of our wonderful bakers! You can plan your selections by using the handy guide below.
Armenian and Israeli Baking - spinach pastry (stuffed dough with spinach, green onion, and parsley)
Chubby Chick Bakery - gourmet scones
Clay's Plants and Baking - lemon loaf and banana bread
D'licious Treats - salted caramel cookie and toasted coconut gourmet marshmallows
Going with the Grain - fresh bread and bagels (try the dill pickle!)
Lorraine's Kitchen - meat pies and fruit pies (fruit: rhubarb and strawberry, apple, saskatoon; meat: beef and Guinness, chicken, and tourtiere.)
Mila's Home Baking - cinnamon buns and giant cookies (M&M, Skor, Rolo, Reese's, and Turtle)
The Cookie Lady - iced cookies in fun shapes (she also makes a mean fruit pie!)
The Very Berry Bun Company - Saskatoon berry cinnamon buns
Yorkton Bakers - poppy seed rolls and tarts
