Spring Indoor Farmers' Market

The first weekend of spring promises not to disappoint, with tomorrow's forecast being sunny with a high of 12! Take advantage of this amazing weather and join us at the farmers’ market this Saturday!

Here's what we have in store for you:

New Vendor Alert

We are over the moon to have yet another new member of the RFM community join us tomorrow! Starting March 23, find Sweets by Tsina with her brightly coloured and delicious macarons (pictured here and above). Please pop by her booth tomorrow and offer her a warm Regina Farmers’ Market welcome!

Haven’t had a chance to try out our other new vendors yet? Be sure to check out:

Karachi Foods – with their super yummy halal kababs (chicken or beef)

Good Morning Springrolls – you guessed it: springrolls (vegetarian ones)

Nana K’s British Pies – a wide range of delicious goods, include savoury pies (think chicken & leek, butter chicken, etc.), sausage rolls, and puff pastries.

Peregrine Farm – pasture raised chicken (whole, halves, and pieces)

El Tropezon – People’s Choice Award

At last weekend's market we were delighted to present El Tropezon, our People’s Choice Award winners, with their trophy!

Congratulations to Roberto and Valeria (and their adorable new addition, pictured here)! The Regina Farmers' Market is honoured and proud to have you as vendors!

Make sure to stop by and congratulate El Tropezon this weekend…

...and don't forget to stock up on your authentic Mexican products (including tortilla chips, salsas, tamales, and other frozen products), because they will be away from market (traveling in Mexico) for the next few weeks!

First Market of the Year

At long last we welcome back Michelle of Zee-Bee Honey (pictured here) for her first market of 2019! We are now back in honey (big shout out to Jeff of Peregrine Farm for keeping us stocked while Zee Bee was away!), so you can now stock up on all your products of the hive!

Based in Zehner, Saskatchewan, Zee-Bee bees produce a delicious, unpasteurized pure honey that is graded as Canada No. #1 White. All Zee-Bee hives are located on or near organic land, giving the bees access to lots of pure sweet nectar.

In early spring, Zee-Bee bees begin their feast on pussy willows and then dandelions (loved by beekeepers!). As spring moves towards summer they move on to lilac, wild Saskatoon bushes, Chokecherry trees, clover and sainfoin. Their main summer meal consists of alfalfa.

Back after a break:

Find these folks tomorrow after a short time away from market:

Chimney Cake - freshly baked Hungarian Kurtos Kalacs (a.k.a. Chimney Cakes)

Prairie Bee Meadery - yummy honey wines made from SK-grown fruit

Pure T Organics - certified organic pulses and grains... healthy on all fronts!

Meditation Necklace Workshop

Our good friend Jamie of Amber-Rayne Designs is offering a Meditation Necklace workshop at tomorrow's market. Space is limited to 12 spots - come and learn the meanings behind Malas and create your own perfect necklace!

Each person will walk away with knowledge about the history and the meanings of specific malas, their cultural background, and information about cultural appropriation. Participants will also receive a crash course on how to choose the right stone and the metaphysical properties attached.

Cost is $45 per person. Call 306-529-4932 for more info and to register!
