This mother (Chef Young Chang) & daughter (Fiona Hwang) are the team behind the french pastry business: Artisan Bakeshop YQR. Chef Young brings her expertise as a professional french pastry chef (Le Cordon Bleu certified), meanwhile her daughter Fiona brings her business and marketing expertise. When Young first moved to Canada, she found the best way to join the community and use her creativity was through her baking. After many years of professional baking experience including time at Hotel Sask, and Conexus Arts Center, Chef Young took the entrepreneurial step into becoming a successful busines owner in Regina. Chef Young and Fiona are pleased to be bringing the highly sought after flavours of Paris to the prairies through their business Artisan Bakeshop.
Artisan Bakeshop joined the Regina Farmers' Market during the 2022 season with the hope to further connect with the Regina community. Fiona is often behind their booth at the market, meanwhile Chef Young is often at their bakery creating her tasty (and gorgeous!) baking. Together they make the dream team of the Artisan Bakeshop which has a brick + mortar on Quance Street in Regina, SK. Wondering what you should try first? Our RFM Team may be biased and recommend all of them, but there is definitely a soft spot for their tartelettes, meringues, and pastries.
