Introducing Maxine Boyle of Maxine's Knitting

Based in Regina, Maxine has been attending the Regina Farmers' Market since 2017. Known for her gorgeous hand-knit Cowichan sweaters, Maxine is a friendly vendor whose hands are always busy working on knitting something! ‘Cowichan’ refers to a form of knitting characteristic of the Cowichan people of southeastern Vancouver Island, and is known for its distinctive pattern and heavy knit. It is a sweater that will keep you warm on the chilliest of fall mornings! You'll recognize her booth with a beautiful spread of ladies and children sized knitted goods, and of course a clothes rack of her adult-sized and assorted handmade Cowichan Sweaters.

Although not on social media, she does take custom orders (and refurbishes older cowichan sweaters) which are best placed directly by phone: 306-585-7728.
