Learning about Local Food

Hold that cucumber high and say, "hooray for local food!" Prairie Sky School is on a mission to make sure our children understand where food comes from and learn to support our local food system. In the centre of the Plaza tomorrow, you'll find a childrens' tent hosted by Prairie Sky School with Story Time every hour and come-and-go Exploration Stations. Activities are FREE and for ages 2+.

• Book Nook
• Edible Bracelets Station
• Vermicompost Station
• Seedlings Station (make a donation to Prairie Sky School and take home a student-grown tomato seedling!)
