Wild Boar is Back

It's been a long, hot, boar-less summer and it's finally coming to an end... Okay--maybe summer wasn't too long and maybe warm weather isn't so bad, but it certainly was lacking in wild boar meat! Golden Prairie Wild Boar is back at market tomorrow, but you better be early; if all of their bacon-starved customers come at once, the line up will be as long as the Plaza!

Stay Warm

Unfortunately, the weather does not look promising for tomorrow's market. We hope you still come out to do your shopping and support our brave (read: crazy) vendors, regardless. Here are a couple products that might help to keep you warm:

• hot coffee - 33 1/3 Coffee Roasters (feel free to drink while you shop!)
• alcohol - Last Mountain Distillery, Over the Hill Orchards, Prairie Bee Meadery (please drink at home!)

Fadiah's Sweets Shoppe is returning to RFM after a busy summer of wedding cake making. Visit Fadiah for a sample of her autumn cake (think almond, pecan, and pumpkin spice flavours) and put in your order for Thanksgiving. Do something different and serve a fall-themed cake after your Thanksgiving meal instead of pumpkin pie (save the pie for yourself!).
