July 30 Map & Mead!

RFM is excited to announce that we'll now be offering MEAD, starting tomorrow! Prairie Bee Meadery (operated by family owned business, Grandpa's Garden) is the latest to join the list of our fine beverage crafters (Last Mountain Distillery, Living Sky Winery, Over the Hill Orchards, and Black Fox Spirits).

Six meads are currently available: Strawberry Splash, Melon Mist, Cherry Charm, Haskap Haven, Raspberry Romance, and Fruit Fusion (a combination of sour cherry, raspberry, haskap, and strawberry). Most of the fruit used in the mead comes from Grandpa's Garden. When necessary, fruit from other Saskatchewan farmers is used to fill the gaps.

In addition to mead, Grandpa's Garden will also be bringing fruit honey to RFM. The honey is not infused with fruit, but rather, mixed with it. This provides the most fruit flavour possible. Fruit honeys include: sour cherry, haskap, raspberry, and strawberry.

RFM and Articulate Ink Press have struck a deal! Occasionally (starting tomorrow), you'll see the talented artists of Articulate Ink set up with their printed wares. In exchange, Articulate Ink has designed and printed awesome market t-shirts! Vendors had first dibs, but they'll be available to the general public at our Info Tent starting this Wednesday!

It's GARLIC SEASON! Pictured here is Russian Red garlic from Fishley Farms, available now. A few other vendors will have varieties of garlic as well, such as Mitchell's All Natural Foods, Heliotrope Organic Farm and The Garlic Garden. FYI, The Garlic Garden is back this Wednesday!
