Street Beets May 8th, 2015: Show your Mom some Local Love!

Today was absolutely sweet. My son's school had a special tea and spa experience planned for the mommies of the Grade 5/6 class. It was nice to realize how important we are to these small people in our lives. Sometimes I forget how much the daily things I do as a mother mean to my young son. I know for some of you, this weekend is the time you will spend thinking about your moms who are gone. My thoughts are with you. I am blessed to have my mom, I am having a baby, I have children who show their love and appreciation in such lovely little ways. I feel so lucky and wish all of you could have as much.

There are plenty of great SK products to buy if you still have last minute shopping to do for Mothers' Day. We have wool filled blankets and pillows, fused glass art pieces (like the one above), bath products, wine and spirits, honey, jams, jellies, aprons, bedding plants, hypertufa plant pots, and so on. There sure is a number of eclectic pieces and items that will show your mom how special you think she is! Remember our Market times are 9am to 1pm, Wednesday's and Saturdays until October 10th!
