Street Beets Nov. 7, 2015: Market Map, Poppies and Amarah Elizabeth

For RFM Kids’ Club this week, we’ll be in the Remembrance Day spirit while making these cupcake liner poppies! They’re quick and easy with only three components, but look very nice grouped together in a vase. Bring the kids anytime between 9 am and 1 pm to participate. We’re at 2065 Hamilton St. tomorrow for our usual Saturday Market. See you there!

Introducing, Amarah Elizabeth. It’s been a while since RFM has welcomed a new visual artist, so we’re quite happy that Amarah came along. Amarah’s art is mixed media inspired by nature, with a lively colour palette. Her pieces show convincing realism along with crisp linework and mandala-like patterns. Amarah doesn’t just sketch willy-nilly; patterns are carefully measured and composition is balanced before she begins. Follow her on Instagram (@lovelydoveinspiration) to catch a glimpse of her skills. Tomorrow will be Amarah’s second time at Market, so please stop by her booth and welcome her to the family.

Yorkton Bakers, Hi Low Angus and Lorraine's Kitchen will not be in. D'licious Treats, Dressed by Les and BarnCat Designs will be in attendance. Get your veggies from Frontier Gardens, Heliotrope or Floating Gardens. Enjoy a hot cup of 33 1/3 Coffee or tea from Cuppa T'.
