Street Beets Sept. 30, 2015: Pre-order Turkeys, Market Map & BC Fruit

It’s almost time to say goodbye to our lovely BC fruit truck. Kim’s Fresh Fruit will be at the Market tomorrow and Saturday, October 3rd, before returning to BC for the winter. They will have bosc pears and three varieties of apples (gala, mac and honeycrisp) available. The pears and apples will keep for a couple of weeks in the fridge, so don’t be afraid to stock up. Please stop by and wish Harry a happy winter; we sure will miss him!

Have you started planning your Thanksgiving supper? It's that time of year! Make it the best Thanksgiving ever with a Southland Colony turkey. There are limited quantities, so please place your order as soon as possible. You can do so by calling/texting (306) 784-7799.

Turkeys are 18-21 lbs each and cost $2.40 per lb. They are hormone and antibiotic free. You must pick up your turkey at the Saturday, October 10th Market. One of these juicy, flavourful (and giant!) Hutterite turkeys will surely be the best part of your dinner. Just think about all that gravy...
