40 Years of RFM; 40 Best Customers - #10

In celebration of the RFM’s 40th Anniversary, we’re giving our vendors the opportunity to nominate and reward Best Customers. This allows our vendors to show appreciation for special customers that have supported them on their endeavours. Not every day is an amazing day at the Market, but these customers show up rain-or-shine.

40 years is a long time for any organization to be around, and it’s a lot of time for things to grow stagnant. RFM, however, is still thriving; we have never been more relevant and more loved than we are today. The Market family continues to grow along with customer attendance. We owe this success to the City of Regina, Regina Downtown, our vendors, and most importantly, our customers.

Please allow us to show our gratitude to 40 people in representation of thousands, with our only regret being that we can’t reward each and every person that takes the time to visit us, whether it’s once a week or once a year. Thank you.

Shelly of Soup Simply has ended her 2015 soup-cooking season, but not before sharing her Best Customer.

I see Colleen and her wide smile at nearly every Market throughout the year, including the indoor ones. She's always happy and willing to start up a conversation. Colleen has been supporting RFM for the last 3 years, and increased her visits when Soup Simply became a vendor. Predictably, Colleen's favourite thing to buy at the Market is soup.

Colleen doesn't think one season is better than another when it comes to shopping at the Market. She says "you all are so innovative" at offering a variety of products through all of the seasons, that there's always something awesome available.

When asked what she might sell at the Market, Colleen replied, "my body." If you've met Colleen, you'd know that this answer was likely followed with gales of laughter. Sorry, Colleen, but we don't have THAT kind of Market! :) Colleen encourages everyone to shop locally...for groceries.

What does Shelly think about her Best Customer?

"I love Colleen because she is a super loyal customer and she has an amazing sense of humour. I'll miss [her] nagging me for my menu on Twitter in the morning."

Thank you, Colleen, for being a Best Customer!
