May 14 Map & Market Highlights

Don't forget–#PlazaMarkets are now underway, which means we'll be on the Plaza every Wednesday and Saturday until October!

Heliotrope Organic Farm is back at the market starting tomorrow! This week, they'll have asparagus, green onions, lettuce, and seed potatoes. Of course, more vegetables will make their way to the market in the coming weeks. Yay for fresh veg!

New vendor, Lisa of Inspired by Beads, must have loads of patience. She uses teeny tiny seed beads in her First Nations-inspired beaded jewelry. Some beads are even smaller than the typical seed beads, and a pair of earrings may take over two hours to complete! Get a closer look at Lisa's work at the market tomorrow.

It was far from a perfect first Wednesday market on May 11, but we're happy the rain (mostly) left us alone! Thank you to all vendors and customers that attended despite the weather. Unless the wind becomes dangerous or the Plaza is in the middle of a lightning storm, the market will be open. There may be fewer vendors in attendance on bad weather days, but the ones that show up deserve your support!

New vendor, Casnin's Ice Candy, will be attending their very first market tomorrow! Please welcome them. Ally's Specialty Baking, Clay's Baking and Heliotrope Organic Farm are back for the first time in 2016. Mr. Spudd's Poutinerie will be the only food truck. Bike Regina can be found next to the RFM Info Tent and they'll be doing free bike tune-ups. Check out the full LIST of vendors as well as the MAP to see where they're placed.

See you at market,

Dee
