40 Years of RFM; 40 Best Customers - #19
The Scandinavian Sweethearts: Synde, Lois and Amanda. Everyone knows them, but maybe not all for the same reasons. I would imagine that most people know the Scandinavian Sweethearts because of their homemade lefse, but they have other unique items, too. Perhaps you visit their booth to buy pickled garlic scapes or eggs. Maybe the canned fruit or chili sauce or mustard. Whichever product it is that you love, you can be sure that Synde, Lois, Amanda, or all three, have put their heart and soul into it. The Sweethearts' Best Customer is so pleased with their home cooking, she has two favourites!

In case you were wondering, Torquay is over by Estevan, SK. Judy has been a loyal customer of RFM for about 10 years, attending weekly. Her favourite items to purchase (two, not one!) are lefse and pickles from The Scandinavian Sweethearts. Not surprisingly, Judy would recommend their lefse and pickles to anyone visiting RFM for the first time.
Judy's favourite part about the market in general is the wide variety of products offered. There's always a great selection, even at the smallest of markets, and new vendors with products we've never had before have joined this year. If Judy were to become a new vendor of RFM, she would be a baker. She didn't specify the type of baking, but I hope it's cake...
What do the Sweethearts think of their Best Customer?
"Judy has an amazing smile and personality. We just love to see her every week!"
Thank you, Judy, for being a Best Customer!

In celebration of the RFM’s 40th Anniversary, we’re giving our vendors the opportunity to nominate and reward Best Customers. This allows our vendors to show appreciation for special customers that have supported them on their endeavours. Not every day is an amazing day at the Market, but these customers show up rain-or-shine.
40 years is a long time for any organization to be around, and it’s a lot of time for things to grow stagnant. RFM, however, is still thriving; we have never been more relevant and more loved than we are today. The Market family continues to grow along with customer attendance. We owe this success to the City of Regina, Regina Downtown, our vendors, and most importantly, our customers.
Please allow us to show our gratitude to 40 people in representation of thousands, with our only regret being that we can’t reward each and every person that takes the time to visit us, whether it’s once a week or once a year. Thank you.
