40 Years of RFM; 40 Best Customers - #9

In celebration of the RFM’s 40th Anniversary, we’re giving our vendors the opportunity to nominate and reward Best Customers. This allows our vendors to show appreciation for special customers that have supported them on their endeavours. Not every day is an amazing day at the Market, but these customers show up rain-or-shine.

40 years is a long time for any organization to be around, and it’s a lot of time for things to grow stagnant. RFM, however, is still thriving; we have never been more relevant and more loved than we are today. The Market family continues to grow along with customer attendance. We owe this success to the City of Regina, Regina Downtown, our vendors, and most importantly, our customers.

Please allow us to show our gratitude to 40 people in representation of thousands, with our only regret being that we can’t reward each and every person that takes the time to visit us, whether it’s once a week or once a year. Thank you.

Honey is a staple (like eggs or bread) for a lot of RFM shoppers. For this reason, Michelle from Zee-Bee Honey had a tough job choosing just one Best Customer. But someone did stand out from the crowd, and they are now Best Customer #8.

8. Angela Fuller

  • originally from England

  • volunteers at Regina Floral Conservatory

  • has been shopping at RFM for 7 years

  • quilter

As I've come to expect, Angela has more than one favourite item to buy at the Market. She loves Zee-Bee Honey's flavoured honey, Sacred Earth soaps, eggs from Ponderosa Alpacas, and meat from Golden Prairie Wild Boar. I'm not surprised; these awesome vendors are the favourites of many.

When asked if she hides her purchases from her family, Angela said, "No - good things are meant to be shared." Great answer! Angela's favourite time to shop at RFM is summer, because of the availability of fruit and vegetables. However, Angela still visits the Indoor Market regularly.

If Angela became a vendor at the Market, she would sell salad dressings. I think that booth would be very popular. Before the interview was over, Angela added, "I love the atmosphere and the buzzz (pun intended) of Regina Farmers' Market."

What does Michelle think of her Best Customer?

"She loves our flavoured honey and I love to visit with her." This sounds like a win-win situation!

Thank you, Angela, for being a Best Customer!
