Market Under the Stars August 13th, 2015 Contest!

YOU CAN WIN these 12 tickets worth $40.00 for the most excellent event in the city, Market Under the Stars, on August 13th, 2015!

All you have to do is like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter, and then share this post about Market Under the Stars. You must be 19 or older to win. The winner will be randomly selected and announced on August 11th! It's the perfect night out for couples or families! These tickets entitle you to 12 tastes from our Tasting Booths, Food Trucks and Liquor Tent.

If luck isn’t on your side, tickets are available for purchase at the RFM Ticket Booth located at the center of the Plaza on the night of. Tickets come in sets of 6 for $20. Your purchase will also include a FREE reusable tote bag from MySask411. Don’t worry about leaving hungry; 6 tickets-worth of food is quite a bit! Below are photos of Tastings from July 30th. 

What is Market under the Stars? It’s a celebration of the best local food and drink in Regina! What will you see there? A regular Market with RFM Vendors and their high quality wares, entertainment provided by our partners at Regina Downtown BID, celebrity eating competitions, and of course, Tastings made with local ingredients. It’s a relaxing time for all ages or a date night out for busy couples. Here’s a short video by our friend, Josh Vogt, that communicates the experience of Market Under the Stars:

The Tasting Area includes over 12 participants, with each one showcasing multiple Tastes. Tastes are purposely 1-2 tickets each to ensure a well-rounded tasting experience. The Liquor Tent (including Last Mountain Distillery, Living Sky Winery and Rebellion Brewery) provides tasting pours of 1/2 oz for hard liquor, 2 oz for wine and 4 oz for beer.

We cannot thank our partners, Regina Downtown BID, enough for all the hard work, planning and staff hours put into this event. This year we have put the event on Thursdays with the intention of pairing with Regina Downtown Concert Series. The music is a wonderful fit with the evening's programming. The evening will go as follows:

5pm to 6pm - Yoga in the Park by Bodhi Tree, provided by Regina Downtown BID
6pm to 6:30pm - Celebrity Eating Contest (food to be determined)
6:30pm to 7:30pm - Concert Series, provided by ReginaDowntown BID & Rawk Entertainment
7:30pm to 10pm - Salsa Dancing lessons/dance party with Regina Salseros, provided by Regina Downtown BID
