🗓️ Thursdays, Jul 4 - Sep 12, 2024
⏰ 4 - 8 PM
📍 Kiswehap Park, E. Kaufman Ave & Chuka Blvd
RFM’s Satellite Farmers’ Markets will return to East Regina in 2024, held on Thursday evenings from July 4 to September 12, from 4 PM to 8 PM, at the newly unveiled Kiswehap Park in Homes by Dream’s Eastbrook on the Greens neighbourhood.
The Satellite Farmers’ Markets, which began in 2023, aim to build community and improve the accessibility of locally produced food in Regina. These smaller, more residentially located markets act as a “satellite” of RFM’s primary locations with the goal of bringing the community together to deliver fresh, locally produced, nutritious food right into residents’ backyards.
About the Location
Kiswehap Park promises to be an exciting new home for RFM's Satellite Farmers' Markets. Located in East Regina’s Eastbrook on the Greens neighbourhood at the corner of E. Kaufman Avenue and Chuka Boulevard, Kiswehap Park features an amphitheatre, community fire pits, public art installations, ping pong and chess tables, free Wi-Fi, electrical outlets, and more. The park was chosen as the home for RFM’s Satellite Farmers’ Markets for its amenities and the potential to create a vibrant community hub for residents.

Fostering Community
Community and connection are at the heart of the farmers’ market experience. Since 1975, RFM has been bridging the gap between producers and consumers in Saskatchewan’s food industry by providing the unique opportunity to purchase groceries directly from the farmers who produce them. By supporting the farmers’ market, shoppers gain insight into the processes and origins of their food, and are investing directly into their community and local economy.
This year, RFM is thrilled to offer engaging programming alongside their Satellite Farmers’ Markets! Thanks to a partnership with Homes by Dream, each market will feature activities or entertainment designed to engage residents and create a sense of community. Stay tuned for our full schedule of programming -- we have some great things planned for the summer!
July 4 | Ben Winoski Project
RFM is incredibly excited to welcome The Ben Winoski Project to set the tone for our Satellite Farmers' Market season! The Ben Winoski Project is a Latin/Spanish-themed instrumental trio from Regina that has been performing together for the last 13 years. The band features Ben Winoski and Jeff Storry on nylon string guitars, who have played together for over 30 years, and Ben's son, Morgan Winoski, on piano. Their music includes original instrumental pieces with catchy themes, rhythms, and improvisation, along with unique renditions of jazz standards.
