Street Beets June 12th, 2013: Colonies and Awesome Markets!

Today marks the busiest Market in our history! We have partnered with Tourism Regina to give a Culinary Tour for 19 Canadian Food Writers. At 10am they will taking part in a drink challenge called the Prairie Fireball. This is done with a Prairie Oyster and Last Mountain Distillery's Rye Whiskey. They then get a to short to commemorate the event. 

Jazz Festival starts today on the Plaza and FW Hill Mall. Government House will be attending in full costume handing out treats in celebration of Tourism Week in Saskatchewan. There is a secret surprise at one booth in our Market where you could win products. Stay tuned to twitter for more details! 

Today is the first Market for Belle Plaine Colony and Waldeck Colony. They will bringing in radishes, lettuce, spinach, onions. now is the time for the first veggies of the year. They sell out fast so be there early! Here's to a busy Market at 12th & Scarth, 9am to 1pm! Ada
