Street Beets June 26th, 2015: Heliotrope Organic Produce and a Dynamite Market!

Beautiful products are coming in from Heliotrope Organic Farms! Pictured here are Cucumbers, Mint, Romaine Lettuce, and Red Leaf Butter Lettuce. Rick and Hayley have been part of the Market for 10 years. They run an organic farm in the Craven/Lumsden area. Heliotrope is a particular favourite of restaurant chefs for their impeccable selection of unusual vegetables. Rick knows what to grow! No surprise there as they used to run the first Saskatchewan Vegetarian Restaurant. Come check out their lush produce at the Plaza Markets, 9 to 1, Wednesdays & Saturdays.

What could I possibly mean by Dynamite Markets? 64 booths is what I mean! This Market has grown and become so popular. I recently sat down with a reporter going over the 40 year history of the Market and brought out our archives. So many faces over the years. We are truly in our watershed years with all you wonderful visitors! Thank you again, we are so thrilled with your support.
