Street Beets Nov. 14, 2015: Shallots, Market Map & Kids' Club with RDBID

Here's a heads up for all you foodies out there - Frontier Gardens has shallots! I don't know about you, but I always feel a little fancier when I use shallots instead of onions. I do love onions, but shallots are milder and won't take over the flavour of the entire dish. Also, maybe the onion-haters in your family won't notice them!

This week's RFM Kids' Club will be one of two hosted by Regina Downtown BID (RDBID). All children are encouraged to participate. Decorations are needed to adorn downtown Regina during the holidays, and RDBID would like your kids to help out! They can contribute to the creation of a holiday mural as well as complete a decoration of their own to take home. RFM Kids' Club is always FREE and runs from 9 am - 1 pm.

Many have been waiting for Ally's Specialty Baking to arrive at Indoor Markets, and tomorrow is the day! The Garlic Garden will also be in for their first Indoor Market. Both Ally's Specialty Baking and The Garlic Garden will be attending only 3 markets each - don't miss out! Pusch Bros., Heliotrope, Floating Gardens, and Frontier Gardens will be supplying the fresh veg.
