First Market of the Year - Frontier Gardens
At this time of year we don't get to welcome too many vendors to their first market of the season, but Frontier Gardens (pictured above) is a special case! Each Fall, Lloyd and Marci of Frontier join us when we move indoors, and stick with us until the holidays. Find them every Saturdays with their full range of Fall veggies, including carrots, potatoes, parsnips, onions, and much more!
Vendor Profile & Customer Reward: Back To YouRoots
These folks are about as passionate as you can get, having lived first-hand the transformative health effects of a whole-foods, plant-based diet. It was this passion that led to a line of fermented foods including kimchi, Red Machine (which has, you guessed it, beets), Meatless Pulled Pork, and (just added) plant-based patties. If you’re looking to integrate some plant-based dishes into your diet, Conrad and Bernie also have you covered there – they have an online cooking show that features different recipe ideas with Back to YouRoots products. (You can find each episode of the show – and other wholefoods inspo – on their website).
Stop by Back to YouRoots tomorrow for a sample! AND – if you’ve got 20 Flok punches, cash ‘em in for a free jar of Red Machine (we hear it’s really good fuel for runners) or Ginger Kraut!
