It is well known that the Regina Farmers' Market is the place to find the freshest and best quality local produce around and this Saturday's market is no exception. This time of year is extra exciting as we welcome back more vegetable producers each week. The smiling faces of our farmer friends are a ray of sunshine after the long, snowy winter. Below we've created a cheat sheet for tomorrow's market so you can fill your plate with the finest Saskatchewan grown produce available.

Floating Gardens: tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplant, lettuce, microgreens, herbs, edible flowers, and herbs.
Heliotrope Organic Farm: asparagus, mixed greens, and green onions.
Kaleidoscope Vegetable Gardens: spinach, radishes, hakurei turnips, and green onions.
Kangro Gardens: cucumbers (large and mini), eggplant, kale, and swiss chard.
Little Greens: microgreens (sunflower, pea shoots, red radish, beets)
Miller's By-gone Farm: potatoes and rhubarb.
Waldeck Farming Co.: green onions, asparagus, and spinach. From the cold cellar, they have carrots, potatoes, beets, and onions from the fall.

Strawberry + Rhubarb = Crisp

Two amazing things are about to collide at the Regina Farmers' Market:

🍓Tomorrow is the 30th Annual Strawberry Fair at St. Paul's Anglican Cathedral, Regina and they'll have some of the sweet red berries available at our market.

✨ One of our favourite vendors, Miller's By-Gone Farm, is also bringing some fresh Saskatchewan Rhubarb.

We're in luck! Pam (of Miller's By-gone Farm) has graciously shared her tried and tested recipe with us! She has been making this recipe for 30 years. If you need a testimonial just ask her children; I'm told it comes highly recommended! If you'd like a copy of this recipe they will be available at Pam's booth.

Prairie Proud Pop-up

Wear your prairie pride on your sleeve!
Or, on your front in the absence of sleeves (it's forecasted to be a hot one tomorrow, folks!).

Prairie Proud is making their first appearance at the Regina Farmers' Market on Saturday, May 26. They are known for their quality casual wear and hip Saskatchewan-themed designs. They truly have something for everyone! You'll find them on the north-west side City Square Plaza tomorrow between 9am-1pm.
