If you can believe it--after this Saturday there are only 4 markets at the Core Ritchie Neighbourhood Centre remaining until we head out to City Square Plaza on May 4!

It is always exciting when the weather warms up and City Square Plaza beckons us to return. Watching the tents popping up at our first outdoor market of the season is nearly as exciting as seeing the tulips opening up--sure signs that the seasons are changing!

That said, we've truly fallen in love with our new indoor venue at Core Ritchie Neighbourhood Centre. We're thrilled to have this wonderful indoor home to welcome market-goers to each week.

Here are some exciting things you can look forward to this Saturday (and every Saturday until April 27!):

Brand New RFM Vendors

We've been busy assessing vendor applications for the 2019 season and it's likely you'll see some new faces over the next few weeks. Did you know that everything sold at our market is made, baked, grown, or designed in Saskatchewan? We LOVE local and it shows!

This week we welcome Klassic Kulfi to their very first market EVER! Attia and Muhammad are bringing traditional Pakistani ice-cream treat (pictured here) to the market and we couldn't be more delighted! Sweet, creamy, and served on a stick this is a treat that is sure to bring a smile to your face. Choose from coconut, pineapple, pistachio, mango or khoya (original) flavour--or try them all!

Returning RFM Vendors

Clark's Spices - Clark is back with his line of hand-blended spices (pictured)--just in time for BBQ season!
Just Gifts - Soy wax candles, melts, and oils--Gina's got all the scents that your nose needs.
The Scandinavian Sweethearts - All things pickles and yummy Scandinavian baking!
Yorkton Bakers - Darlene and Ron made their 2019 market debut a couple of weeks ago but can one ever have enough of their delicious poppyseed roll? We think not. Stock up at the market this week while it lasts!

Happiness is Egg-Shaped

Omelette you in on a little something: we've got an abundance of farm fresh eggs at the market! This calls for a shellabration! Whether you like them scrambled, fried, or hard-boiled we've got plenty of these nutritious and delicious beauties available from a number of vendors. Why not pick up an extra dozen this week and make a quiche? Miller's By-gone Farm will also have some duck eggs available; we hear they're egg-cellent! Hopefully, our terrible eggs puns have cracked you up!

RFM Kids' Club: Spring Edition

Did you know that each week at our indoor markets we run completely free children's activities? We've got lots of fun Spring-themed crafts lined up for the next few weeks so be sure to pop by the RFM Kids' Club table with your little ones. This week we'll be making a cute little caterpillar on a leaf!

Flok Reward: Free Cinnamon Honey

If you've collected 20 Flok punches than it's time for some free market loot. This week is a really sweet deal courtesy of our friends at Zee-Bee Honey. Visit their booth and redeem your punches for a free jar of cinnamon flavoured honey.
