Saskatoon Berries

It's that time of year every Saskatchewanian dreams of – saskatoon berry season! Rocky Acres Orchard will have fresh berries available by the pint or quart tomorrow. If you really have a craving, you can also buy an entire bucket. Loon Creek may have a few fresh, but mostly frozen available tomorrow; they're planning to have plenty of fresh saskatoon berries for Saturday's market. In the very near future, many other vendors (such as Over the Hill Orchards and Country Breeze Farms) will have saskatoon berries, as well.

New Food Truck

Latino Bake Shop has been a vendor since 2010, attending numerous markets, but tomorrow will be only the second market with their new food truck. Now you can have an empanada for lunch on the Plaza! (Or breakfast, I won't stop you.) If you love the convenience of frozen empanadas for work/school lunches, don't worry – frozen empanadas will still be available at the food truck.
